Hailing from Lismore on the northern New South Wales coast, this five piece indie rock band claim to have migrated to Brisbane "after they heard they still accept food stamps" up there. Performing original material written by brothers Ben and Josh Eckersley, the band describes their music as displaying "great pop sensibility with big dirty smears of blues and country". With their catchy melodies, we were certainly impressed by this bands

ability to get the foot tapping and we are proud to have "The Wells" as our first feature artists. It came as no surprise to us that they have already played shows with the likes of "Something for Kate" and it's great to see them release their first EP which is now available through rocking horse records.
